The Group mainly exports protein meals like soyabean meal and rapeseed meal. Here, the activity starts right from the stage of covering the crop till the export of the product. The export of these meals takes place mainly from October to April every year, to various Asian countries.

The protein meals are procured mostly from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and rajasthan and are exported to Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. However, These exports are mainly invoiced to the trading companies situated at Singapore like Cargill International Trading Pte. Ltd., Noble Resources Pte. Ltd., Concordia Agri Trading, Peter Creamer, Bungee Asia and Starcom.

This business is regarded as a risk-free business since all the counterparts are very reputed and large trading companies. It is worth nothing that these trading companies pay advance payments to cover the shipments during the next season.

With respect to rice exports, the Group is engaged in the export of South Indian long-grained rice. At present, the exports are mainly to PepsiCo, USA with different destinations as nominated by them. With respect to groundnut exports, the shipments are mostly to Indonesia and to the trading companies listed above.

With a good monsoon during the current year the Group expects to achieve an export target of USD 500 million for the year.
