Agri Business-Import
The Group is engaged in import of vegetable oils viz. soyabean oil, palm oil & sunflower oil. The supply demand gap of vegetable oils is increasing year after year & has great potential going forward. Crude soyabean oil is imported from South American countries like Argentina and Brazil. Soyabean oil accounts for 60% of the oil consumed in our country and the consumption is expected to go up because of the low-fat and protein-rich contents of the oil.

Palm oil is imported from Malaysia & Indonesia, whereas sunflower oil is being imported from Russian countries.

In near future, the group has plans to come up with a port based refinery along southern coast.

Agri Business-Export
Some of the world’s biggest commodity giants trust the Floriana group’s wholesome & fine quality agro-products. The group ventured into the exports of agro-commodities business in year 2003-04 & now commands a major foothold in the market.

The group mainly exports protein meals like soyabean meal and rapeseed meal. The export of these meals takes place mainly to various South Asian countries.

Agri Business-Domestic activities
The group is primarily into domestic trading of various spices, pulses, food grains and oil seeds. Spices like red chilli, cumin seed, coriander, black pepper and oilseeds like mustard seeds & soyabeans are main trading items.
